Photoshop meets the 50's.

I have something in mind that requires a bright, yet simple design and suddenly I found I had made this very 50's looking sketch of seedpods. I drew and colored it only once, but with the help of Photoshop I was able to see it in different color combinations and make my choice. Personally, I like them all.

The RSS Feed or Chiclet (sometimes spelled Chicklet) is for your benefit. It is the orange icon and you can see them on websites and blogs. If you click on them they will automatically send you updates of these websites and blogs. (Scroll down).

This is really useful for magazine and news websites if you want to be kept informed on anything new they are publishing.

If you then click on the RSS it gives you a number of readers e.g. Google Reader choose one. By doing this the contents stay out of your email inbox but are placed in a folder, where you can access what you want to read at any time.

After doing this you will probably find the Chiclet in your toolbar.

It ain't much, if it ain't Dutch.

Not that I think everything Dutch is so wonderful, besides the cheese, flowers, bread and shopping, but there is much to be said about this tiny country with a population of about 16.5 million.

Perhaps my attention is drawn to anything connected to Holland but not a week goes by or I see something interesting.

I am reading a book about how the Dutch settled Manhatten Island in the 17th Century. You hardly ever hear anything about it except that, ever frugal, they bought the land from the Indians for $ 24.00.
